As Holy Week is observed all over the world, former president Donald Trump is promoting the” God Bless the USA” Bible.
The special edition Bible, which retails for$ 59.99, is inspired by singer Lee Greenwood’s 1984 hit” God Bless the USA” — which is blasted at Trump’s campaign stops — according to its website. It is a King James version of the sacred text and includes the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Pledge of Allegiance.
In a commercial video, Trump stated,” I want to have it had had by a lot of people.” ” You have to have it for your brain, for your soul”.
” All Americans need a Bible in their house, and I have many”, Trump said in the picture. ” It’s my favorite book. It’s a lot of women’s favourite book. Our church is the main thing we must restore to make America great again, as illustrated by this Bible.
God Bless the USA’s website claims it is” no social and has nothing to do with any political strategy” and is” not owned, managed or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Ventures LLC or any of their respective leaders or affiliates”.
” GodBlessTheUSABible .com uses Donald J. Trump’s name, likeness and image under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms”, the website states.
The Washington Examiner reached out to Trump’s plan for remark.
Trump has promoted another ventures under his name, including a new collection of sneakers next month and a number of online trading cards with his likenesses next year.
The Left is opining that Trump seeks to apply” Christian patriotism” into his presidency, a word that social conservatives oppose because it is intended to marginalize those who believe in the role of religion, or Judeo-Christian principles, in daily life.
Trump stated in his video that while religion is under attack, it will resurrect in the country.
” In the end, we do not answer to bureaucrats in Washington. We answer to God and heaven”, he said. ” Christians are under siege. Content that supports God must be protected. We have to defend anything that is in favor of God because we love Him.
The message reads,” Stay up, speak out, and pray that God will bless America once more,” and the spot ends.

Trump’s promotion of the special edition of the Bible comes a day after a New York appeals court reduced the amount of his civil fraud defense owes to$ 175,500, giving him 10 days to pay it.
