
A well-known prosecutor in the Chicago area who is a frequent judge on the national dog show circuit has been detained on suspicion of child pornography. He is accused of talking about a potential sexual assault against his newborn son and of posting ultrasound pictures and photos of newborn outfits as evidence of the child’s impending appearance.
According to a legal complaint made public on Monday, Adam Stafford King, 39, of much western residential Elburn, was detained on Friday immediately before his planned flight to California to be with the surrogate mother for his son’s birth.
According to court documents, King, an ophthalmologist who had been scheduled to determine the toy dog class at the Westminster Kennel Club present in May, was ordered held until a confinement hearing on Tuesday.
King’s release has been requested without relationship by the prosecution. His lawyer, Jonathan Singer, had no opinion on the case Monday.
