The national criticism has responded to the discharge of Australia’s formal inflation rate, at 3.4 percent, saying prices across different industries was substantially higher.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics ( ABS ) monthly inflation figures for February showed that inflation remained constant compared to the figures from January, coming in at the same level as the previous month.
But housing prices rose 4.6 percent, food and quasi- adult beverages jumped 3.6 percentage, alcohol and tobacco surged 6.1 percentage, and plan and financial solutions soared 8.4 percentage.
” The quarterly CPI sign rose 3.4 percentage in the 12 month to February, following a 3.4 percent increase in the 12 month to January”, the ABS said.
” Monthly trimmed mean prices was 3.9 percent in February, up substantially from 3.8 percentage in January”….
