International trends towards green vehicles driven by factors such as environmental concerns, federal incentives, and advances in EV systems, have seen the number of new EVs sold in Australia fall to 46, 624 in 2023, representing a 269 percent increase from 2022, and 8.4 percent of all new cars sold.
