Thousands of illegal immigrants have entered the country since 2021, and major cities in shelter states like New York and California are now facing a crisis situation as homes, city roads, and streetcars are bursting at the seams.
Some real estate experts believe that the rise in human population will finally have an impact on the housing market, especially for first-time homebuyers who are already struggling against rising prices in a business where inventory is limited.
Moises Agami, CEO of Valor Capital Real Estate Development, told The Epoch Times that the recent immigrant situation could eventually cause a significant “houseless” problem, particularly among possible first- time homebuyers. He explained that the situation was” an unnatural and expected condition,” and that the outcome will be a bigger housing problems than we already have as a result as these immigrants work and contribute to the economy.
