The key is to maintain the issue of assistance to Ukraine as a unified factor, he said,” We recognize that there are varying opinions in the House of Representatives on how to deal.”
We also discussed the need to use freezing Russian property for Ukraine’s profit and cut off Russia’s revenue sources as soon as possible. We even rely on the authority of Congress in this regard”, continued Mr. Zelenskyy.

Mr. Johnson has praised Ukraine’s support but also called for the implementation of stringent southern border safety measures. The House objected to a Senate deal that included border security procedures in addition to funding for Ukraine under his command. The border protection component, according to Republicans, was unsatisfactory.
Mr. Johnson said on Feb. 6 that funding for Ukraine has” never been abandoned”.
” We’ll speak about the Ukraine determine going forward. That’s certainly been abandoned”, Mr. Johnson told investigators.
However, there is still much more work to be done in terms of the replies the White House needs to provide us, including the end goal, plan, accountability for the money, and all of these very specific information that the House is required to take into account when making such difficult decisions, and we will continue to do so, he said. ” We’ll remain seeking the answers from the White House, and we’ll approach it as we go”.
In November, Mr. Johnson said that money for the Eastern European country, as well as for Israel, is a “priority”.
” Of course, we ca n’t allow Vladimir Putin to march through Europe”, said Mr. Johnson.
” We recognize the value of helping it. What we’ve said is that if there is more aid to Ukraine, which the majority of Congress thinks is crucial, we must also work on altering our own boundary policy.
A Senate-passed$ 95 billion international aid package that includes aid for Ukraine is being pushed through by Democratic members of Congress.
Their effort is accompanied by a position for promotion sponsored by Rep. Jim McGovern ( D–Mass. ), a ranking member of the House Rules Committee. It has 191 names. In order to push a ballot, 216 signatures, a majority of the House, are required.
” What we are asking our colleagues—Democrats and Republicans—is to sign the discharge petition that will bring to the floor the Senate national security bipartisan supplemental”, said Rep. Pete Aguilar ( D–Calif. ), head of the House Democratic Caucus, on March 12 during a media briefing in the Capitol.
That is the quickest and most straightforward way to resolve this problem.
