Hungarians are putting pressure on the decision Fidesz group, which is being supported by an audio recording that long-time insiders claim is proof of widespread corruption among top prosecutors and government officials under Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Peter Magyar is one of the ruling group’s most top sympathizers of the past ten years and is a former high-ranking national at state-owned organizations, including the Student Loan Center, a big lender.

Following weeks of common attacks on Orban and his inner group, Magyar&nbsp, posted a recording&nbsp, on social media on March 26 allegations of his separated ex- wife, a former justice minister, acknowledging that government officials persuaded prosecutors to interfere with evidence in a big corruption case.

Days later, Magyar claimed at a show near Kossuth Lajos Square in Budapest that he had shared the tracking with investigators and that he had urged the masses to demand fairness and an investigation into the case known as the Schadl-Volner case.

As Magyar read a prepared statement outlining charges against older Fidesz officers he claims had been corrupted by long years in power, thousands of people waved Hungarian colors, booed, and whistled on sign.

” Jail them! Courthouse them”! the audience did a few chances at once.

Since 2010 have Orban and Fidesz dominated subsequent Hungarian elections, using their supermajority to alter election laws and the court, marginalize independent media, and effectively claim political opponents a major part in oversight.

After Katalin Novak’s departure as Hungarian president last month and the resignation of Magyar’s separated ex-wife, ex-Justice Minister Judit Varga, the pair made a public break with Fidesz.

Varga, who abandoned plans to result Fidesz’s candidates in German Parliamentary elections in June, dismissed Magyar’s tracking as coerced and a “vile adjustment” in a extended- running energy to “blackmail” her. She&nbsp, repeated accusations&nbsp, that Magyar had abused her during their marriage.

Varga has been repeatedly accused of being mistreated by Magyar.

On March 26, Magyar claimed that the recording implicates officials in numerous crimes and spent several hours in the Prosecutor-General’s Office. He&nbsp, also said&nbsp, he has many more recordings relating to the Schadl- Volner case and will continue to share them with investigators.

The long-running Schadl-Volner case involves possible activities by Pal Volner, a former justice ministry secretary, and Gyorgy Schadl, the head of the chamber of judicial officers, and reportedly involves wiretaps and secret information.

In a copy of the recording that Magyar posted to Facebook and YouTube, it appears to be asking Varga to talk about a case before a voice that sounds similar to hers says,” They told prosecutors what should be removed.

” I think they ca n’t do anything other than to summon several members of the government as witnesses]and], in fact, I say they ca n’t do without summoning the prime minister as a witness”, Magyar said of prosecutors. ” Obviously, ]Orban ] is aware of much more]wrongdoing ] than what my ex- wife and I were aware of”.

Antal Rogan, the prime minister’s cabinet representative and moderator of government messaging, has been charged by Magyar with exerting enormous influence within a corrupt political syndicate.

Officials at Fidesz have refuted Magyar’s claims as unfounded opportunism and harassment of his ex-wife.

Magyar&nbsp, has called&nbsp, for another rally in Budapest on April 6 to push for change in what he hopes is” the biggest demonstration of the last 14 years”.

An estimated 35, 000 people audibly heard Magyar declare his intention to launch a new political party after his call for an anti-government protest to coincide with a national holiday on March 15.

Following significant anti-government demonstrations in February, the rally came after a presidential pardon was approved by Varga and given by Novak to a man convicted of helping conceal sexual abuse at a children’s home.
