According to a viral video apparently showing a man humiliating and beating up a relative at his New York grocery store, the trap of riches knows no body ties to other countries. The firm, a local of Bhavpura community in Gandhinagar, and the contractor, a native of Jetalpur in Mehsana, had improperly moved to the US for a better lifestyle.
Pas has in its possession three pieces of images from the company’s CCTV camera- recorded on March 18 and 23- where the company, a hairy man, is seen beating and abusing his sibling. The company’s woman is seen abusing the person in the next video, and the woman is seen kicking him in the next video, which the company later apologizes for.
Additionally, TOI has an audio tape where the business’s friends are heard confronting him for beating and abusing the person and forcing him to perform paid work. One of them accuses the company of being morally superior, but he was also involved in illegal activities and had recently moved to the US through illegal means. The company is reportedly alleged to have said that he was putting a chance on an illegal refugee by referring to this.
According to a source close to the family,” The employer and his wife made their way to the US about a decade ago after obtaining their U-visas ( U non-immigrant status ). Eventually, they invited a Mehsana equivalent to live with them, and he too illegally immigrated to the US.
A U- card is designated for victims of specific crimes, who have experienced mental or physical abuse, and who are useful to law police or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of legal activity, according to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services. Six years ago, the Mehsana resident moved to the US, and he was reportedly treated like a bound laborer. The company is also alleged to have violated his relative’s rights and not giving him any compensation in the preceding audio clip.
According to another source from the victim’s settlement, instances of illegal immigrants passing by the US border do not deter the locals, who are overwhelmingly interested in immigrating there.
Four members of a home from Dingucha in Gandhinagar died in the harsh conditions of the border passing Canada-US.
