The Maryland Democrat’s anti-black epithet is in warm water after using it.
Rep. David Trone ( D., Md. ) During a discussion over tax rates with Republicans on the House floor, he later used the racial slur” jigaboo” to get into hot water.
” This Democratic jigaboo that, you know, it’s a tax rate that’s stopping business investment, that’s just entirely erroneous by people who have not run a business”, Trone said. ” They’ve never been there”.
Trone apologized for the event, claiming he meant to say “bugaboo”, and insisting that he had never heard the insult earlier. But his explanation came too late to prevent injury to his Senate plan: A number of Maryland Democrats, including Rep. Jamie Raskin, endorsed Trone’s main opposition, Prince George’s County professional Angela Alsobrooks.
Trone is not exactly the second politician to get himself in this kind of predicament. The Complete Wine CEO has a long list of people who can give him advice on how to proceed, whether it’s getting caught wearing dark experience or rattling off racial slurs on a television show.
Former Sen. George Allen ( R., Va. ), who lost his 2006 reelection bid after referring to an Indian man as a “macaca” on the campaign trail, told the Free Beacon he was surprised and delighted by Trone’s choice of words.
” I had n’t heard that word since I was a kid. Nowadays, people just are n’t that creative with racial slurs. It’s really n- term this, n- term, that. No admiration for past, nor the art of racism. If voters are wise, they’ll offer Trone his funds for this encouraged walk”.
President Joe Biden, who also holds racial animus against Indian people, told the Free Beacon,” You guys are always bothering me with questions about Hunter, but when Susan]Rice ] woke me up and said Harry Potter is asking about Jigaboo, I jumped on the phone”. He added,” I knew Jigaboo, hell, everyone in Wilmington knew Jigaboo. I’m able to explain how he came by that title. It all started back in 1907 when]unintelligible ]”.
” Look, place is, the reason I’m telling you about this is that Daniel Trone has nothing to fear about”, the leader continued. ” He’s a good kid, and frankly, I’ve called Republicans a lot worse. Only now I told Emily, you know, that Trump is a real]phone disconnects ]”.
The Free Beacon reached the Ghost of Harry Reid ( D., Nevada ), who once praised former president Barack Obama for avoiding” Negro dialect, unless he wanted one.”
Reid lamented that he was not given his own world in the future by lamenting that” I was simply telling Richard Trumka that the temperature down here is nothing compared to Nevada summer.”
Rev., a civil right leader and former Democratic presidential candidate, reached for comment on the matter. Jesse Jackson told the Free Beacon to “go back to Hymietown“, saying he was n’t “going to talk about racial slurs with a damn bread”.
