In a recent CNN poll, only 35 % of respondents said that things are going well in the country right now, and 48 % of respondents still think the economy is in trouble. It is simple to explain the gap between the gloomy economic sentiment and the amazingly high headline unemployment rate and GDP.
The difference between article GDP and gross domestic income ( GDI) is staggering. While GDP suggests a strong sector, GDI reveals a sluggish economy.
