( NewsNation ) — A March 21 border riot in El Paso County, Texas, was n’t the first of its kind but was the “most dramatic” National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd can remember, he told” The Hill”.
More than 200 people are facing condition charges for allegedly tearing down razor wire as they reportedly pushed their way through a barrier of outnumbered Texas Army National Guard troops on Thursday, March 21, according to NewsNation companion Border Report.
According to the El Paso Times, a prosecutor in Texas ordered some immigrants who had been arrested for the rebellion to be released from jail on Sunday.

If a federal immigration hold prevents their release, migrants without adequate documentation may remain imprisoned, the newspaper reported.
” All we have to do is wave immigration courts to our border”, Judd said. ” Wave asylum officers to our borders. Have those jury appearances right away if you cross the border illegally.
Texas GOP Gov. In line with Texas ‘ Operation Lone Star, Governor Abbott earlier this year sent the National Guard to the area to stop migrants from crossing the U.S. frontier, and razor wire had been set up for that purpose.
