United Airlines has asked its planes to take paid keep in May in what could be an earlier punch to the hectic summer travel time, citing Boeing’s delayed aircraft sales.
Our projected stop hours for 2024 have been reduced, and we are offering our pilots volunteer programs for the month of May to minimize excessive staffing, according to the flight in an April 1 speech.
The Air Line Pilots Association, the labor union representing United’s aircraft, said additional time off perhaps be offered” for the summers pay periods and probably into the fall”….
