Veterans of the pro-Trump era spoke with The Epoch Times about their” America First” opinion.
Previous President Donald J. Trump and President Joe Biden engaged in a serious physical ball discussion on the day of the Wisconsin key.
Shortly after he began speaking, he gestured to an empty floor near where he stood.
” You know what that is? That’s for Joe Biden”, he said. ” I’ll do it anywhere you want, Joe”!
The internet received a copy of a Truth Social article from President Trump in which he stated his desire to have the conversations run by the” crooked” Democratic National Committee or the Commission on Presidential Debates prior to his talk.
” Let’s go have a good, solid, friendly debate”, President Trump said on stage before asserting that America is “going to hell” under the Biden administration.
The Biden plan has received a request to post from The Epoch Times.
Additionally, President Trump supported businessman Eric Hovde, who is running for the Democrat Senate.
Mr. Hovde, the son of late Reagan administration official Donald Hovde, would face incumbent Sen. Tammy Baldwin ( D- Wis. ) in the fall.
President Trump addressed improper immigration and the “border disaster” that he attributes to President Biden in Michigan, where he earlier made remarks earlier in the day.
” This is an conquest of our state”, he said, calling it “bigger than a war”, and describing coming migrants as” nation- changing, country- threatening, and … country- wrecking”.
If voters bring him back to the Oval Office, he reiterated his numerous pledge to guide the “largest repatriation operation in British history.”
‘ America First ‘ Veterans Gather for Trump
The temperature outside of the Hyatt Regency Green Bay was dreadful: cold, moist, and, by the end of President Trump’s speech, watery.
The extended range of Trump backers waiting to enter were, if not happy, therefore definitely determined.
The house of the Green Bay Packers, America’s basketball team, has hosted tougher outside events. Similar lines started to form in the months leading up to the essential key winter events in those says outside of Trump rallies in Iowa and New Hampshire in January.
A knot of people wearing Veterans of Foreign Wars clothes were among the large group of “MAGA” fans in. They had come from trees of the business in Florence and Denmark—places in Wisconsin, certainly the city and country in Europe, both.
” I served in the United States Navy from’ 90 to ‘ 94″, one of the soldiers, Steven Levine, told The Epoch Times.
Like other veterans who have spoken with The Epoch Times, he voiced support for a foreign policy that’s less interventionist (or, to some, more isolationist ) than the norm.
He said,” Some people can see how beneficial our not being involved in the Russian civil war is for our country, or the world, for that matter,” and that the same may probably be said of Israel and the Palestinian conflict. He added that he thought it was appropriate to ask the US to stop providing support to Israel.
He had a distinct opinion of Taiwan and China.
” That’ ‘ a thick one”, he said, noting the United States ‘ reliance on cards produced in Taiwan.
He argued that America may continue to be a global leader.
When asked if they were” America First”, Mr. Levine and two other soldiers uttered a word in unison:” Positively”!
” We swore an oath to defend the Constitution”, said Richard Verheyen, one of the two other soldiers who chimed in. He claimed to have served in Desert Storm for The Epoch Times.
Brian Christian, a younger former from the Global War on Terror, rejected the notion, common in Washington, that President Trump’s foreign policy may eventually diminish the United States on the global level.
” We do n’t need to be everybody’s friend and everybody’s crutch to lean on. We need to handle our own”, he said, adding that the United States should return to being “respected and feared”, as it was when he first enlisted.
