According to a Facebook post, the Dali goods dispatch that allegedly crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, was unmanned at the time of the incident.

    Verdict: False

The assertion is fake, and it was first made in Mar. 27 articles were published on the comedy website” Real Natural News.” Synergy Marine Group, the Dali goods boat’s management firm, issued a press release on Mar. 27 indicating that the two planes and other members of the crew were healthy.

    Point Test:

Employees have “removed the first section” of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore amid efforts to” rescue” the composition, according to the Baltimore Sun. A cranes is being used to unload the aircraft to a ship, the outlet reported.

” White Hats Suggest Dali Unmanned at Time of Collision”, the Facebook post pretends. The post does n’t provide evidence to back up its claim.

According to the same satire article, both the cargo ship’s management company and public officials have “misrepresented]the ] facts surrounding the incident”. Further, according to the article, the U.S. Army Cyber Command allegedly heard a portion of a phone call between a Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and a National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB ) official. Buttigieg allegedly claimed that the cargo ship was unmanned at the time of the collision and that the alleged detail was advised not to be” spread around.”

Additionally, Test Your Truth discovered no reliable news sources that supported the claim that the goods ship was allegedly autonomous at the time of the collision. In reality, the opposite is true. Additionally, USA Today identified the claim as fake through a Mar. 29 post.

However, Synergy Marine Group, the Dali goods ship’s management firm, issued a media release on Mar. 27 indicating that the two planes and other members of the crew were safe. ( RELATED: Facebook Post Falsely Claims Navy JAG Has Started Garland’s Military Tribunal, Accuses Him Of’ Treason’ )

We confirm the health of all team members and two pilots on board “DALI,” with one small accident being reported. The staff member who was hurt has been treated and released from the hospital, according to the statement, which was partially quoted.

Synergy Marine Group has contacted Test Your Point for comment, and we will update this article as needed if one is received.
