    Junta helicopter crashes during training exercise in Myanmar

    A military plane owned by the junta crashed in northern Myanmar on Wednesday, according to a statement released by officials. &nbsp,

    According to the press release, electrical loss occurred on Tuesday during a training session in the Mandalay country’s Meiktila city, adding that the captain and apprentice crew were unharmed. Meiktila is home to the regime’s Air Force Central Command.

    ” We have seen more plane crashes and the use of planes has increased”, said the gentleman, who goes by one title. ” Many of the plane that have come to us have weaknesses. The aeroplane will continue to be used excessively.

    He added that it’s crucial to check the condition of aircraft after each use, but the coup can no longer do that because of the speed with which they are being used to carry out attacks all over the country. According to a September &nbsp, report&nbsp, by the United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights, airstrike attacks increased in Myanmar by 324 % between 2021 and 2023. &nbsp,

    On Feb. 29, a fighter plane crashed near Magway state’s Kyu Wun town in central Myanmar. Just weeks prior, a military aircraft repatriating soldiers who fled to India&nbsp, skidded off the runway&nbsp, at Mizoram country’s Lengpui Airport.

    In earlier times of the revolution, more seldom crashes followed these crashes. In November 2022, a coaching pilot helicopter crashed in&nbsp, Tanintharyi place ‘s&nbsp, Thayetchaung town.

    In June 2021, &nbsp, a coup customer helicopter crash killed 12 people&nbsp, at Pyinoolwin’s near Anisakhan Airport in Mandalay area. The dead included a priest, two military degrees, a commander and a sergeant.

    According to statistics compiled by RFA, rebel forces in Kachin, Kayin and Karenni state, as well as rebel armies, or People’s Security Forces, &nbsp, state to have shot down&nbsp, seven carry helicopters and fighter jets in the three years since the 2021 revolution. Due to technical or individual error, five more coup aircraft have crashed.
