According to Dwayne” The Rock” Johnson, he wo n’t be supporting any presidential candidates in 2024 because of the “incredible amount of division in our country” that his previous endorsement caused.

In an interview with” Fox &amp, Friends Weekends” aired on Friday, the” Fast &amp, Furious” star admitted that he regrets publicly supporting candidate Joe Biden over President Donald Trump four years ago.

He told Fox News Will Cain,” I thought the support I made years ago with Biden was the best decision I made at the time.”

” I realize then going into this vote, I will not do that”, he continued. ” My goal is to take this country up”.

” I did keep my politicians to myself. It is between me and the vote box”, said the WWE tale- turned- Hollywood A- list. I do trust the American people and whoever they vote for is my president and who I will support 100 %, like many of us out there who do n’t trust all politicians.

When asked if he was delighted with the current state of America, Mr. Johnson said he was n’t, although he has confidence in the American people’s ability to improve the condition.

” Am I content with the current status of American?” Well that answer’s no”, he told Mr. Cain. Do I think things will get better? I believe in that, I’m an enthusiastic person and I believe we can get better”.

Mr. Johnson, the most- followed person on social media in the world leading up to the 2020 presidential election, said he will practice greater prudence in leveraging his social impact as a brand.

In 2020, Mr. Johnson endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden and therefore- California Sen. Kamala Harris, calling the set” the best to lead our country”. Along with encouraging comment from other celebrities like Beyoncé, Kesha, and Alex Rodriguez, his long-abandoned refrain from political endorsements was a remarkable change.

” I thought again next… I’m in this position where I have some influence and it’s my job to exercising my influence”, the 51- year- ancient megastar told Mr. Cain, reflecting on his first- time- always social endorsement, which had set off a wave of divided reactions on cultural media.

The representation comes as there is no denying that the drop election will have a fight between President Biden and former president Trump, with the original struggling with declining approval ratings and the latter facing many legal issues. This time, Mr. Johnson said, he may keep his politics to myself and finally believe the electors ‘ view.

” Are I going to do it again this time?” That answer’s no”, he said.

” I also realized that what that caused up next, which is sector then, caused something in my gut up then and now, which is department.”

” The takeaway after that—months, and months and months ]later ] — I started to realize like,’ Oh man, that caused an incredible amount of division in our country”, he continued, vowing to not make the divisive move again.

” So I realized then, going into this election, I’m not going to do that. I would n’t do that, because my goal is to bring our country together. I believe in that in my DNA”, said Mr. Johnson, who is preparing for the 40- time- anniversary version of WWE Wrestlemania.

” In the spirit of that, there’s gonna be no endorsement”, he reiterated. ” Not that I’m scared of it at all, but it’s just I realize that this level of influence, I’m going to keep my politicians to myself. I believe it is between me and the ballot box.
