The Federal Trade Commission (FTC ) and the Department of Justice ( DOJ) intend to work together as food prices rise in the United States ‘ food supply chain.
The two national agencies will work together with other federal agencies and state institutions to address the food inflation problem, according to FTC Commissioner Rachel Slaughter.
In the last few years, there has been a focus “up and down the food supply chain”, involving foods vendors, food processors, chemical companies, and supermarkets.
