The so-called “human rights” organization Amnesty International has been really bad about their analysis of the Israel-Hamas conflict. However, their statement on Monday, in which they spoke out against Israel, was beyond the white. In light of the the demise of Walid Daqqa, dubbed a” Arab writer”. While the article claimed his incarceration was” a violent reminder of Israel’s disregard for Palestinians ‘ right to life”, it was he who showed like a “disregard”, given he was tried and convicted for his role in the terrible kidnapping, torture, and death of a 19- year- older Jewish soldier, Moshe Tamam.  ,

The article linked to a press release, which used offensive speech throughout to apologise the offender. ” Sanaa Salameh, Walid Daqqah’s woman who diligently campaigned for his release, may not accept her dying father one last time before he passed. According to Amnesty’s Erika Guevara- Rosas, Israel’s authorities had presently return Walid Daqqah’s body to his family without delay in order to allow them to pay him a quiet and respectful burial and allow them to lament his death without being intimidated.
The article also leaves out how he died of cancer, while was mentioned , in a CNN review, which even referenced how Israel will evaluate his suicide:
On Monday, a representative for Israel Prison Service confirmed Daqqa’s death and stated in a speech that his death would be investigated “like any occurrence of this character.”
After being found guilty of the murder of a soldier, Daqqa was viewed as a criminal in Israel. But to many Palestinians, he was a symbol of their struggle for liberation from Israel.
After being found guilty of leading the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine ( PFLP ) militant group that kidnapped and killed 19-year-old Israeli soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984, he was detained in March 1986 and given a life sentence. According to Amnesty International, Daqqa was not found guilty of carrying out the death but of leading the organization, which he denied. Tamam’s daughter Ortal said on X that her aunt was subjected to torture , before being killed.
In 2012, Israel reduced his word to 37 times, which he completed in 2023. The Arab Commission of Detainee Affairs then charged him with bringing mobile phones into Israeli custody, and he was given an additional two years ‘ imprisonment, according to the Jewish judge. He passed away before the appointed discharge date of March 24, 2025.

However, the CNN report merely glossed over how Tamam was subject to brutal torture before being shot stage black in the chest.
Here’s how the Israeli Chronicle described the dreadful situation:
After being found guilty of leading the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine ( PFLP ) in 1984, Daqqah was given a life sentence in 1986. He was also found guilty of abducting and killing 19-year-old Israeli soldier Moshe Tamam.
The steal, a ransom charge that failed, turned into death on Daqqah’s purchases.
Tamam vanished after taking his partner to her house in Tiberias and returning by bus to Tel Aviv while he was on leave from the defense.
Four days later, his body was discovered near the western city of Mevo Dotan, near the entrance to the community.
According to reports at the time, Tamam’s murders shot him dead before taking him to an oil woods and mutilating his brain.
Additionally, The Jerusalem Post noted that” Daqqah ordered Tamam’s abduction for ransoming functions.” He ordered his death in case the transfer process became complicated” . ,
Amnesty had really attempted to spin that particular aspect by highlighting that” Daqqah was never found guilty of carrying out the crime himself, but of directing the group.”
He was able to obtain his levels while incarcerated, despite how harsh the Israelis allegedly were. ” During his detention, Daqqa wrote a number of books, and earned two degrees in 2010 and 2016″, that CNN report also mentioned.

Also Amnesty International made up his mind when they criticized him for all of their complaining, but they also retorted it for Daqqah. As they concluded their media release:
Walid Daqqah wrote a lot about the Arab experience in Israeli prison while serving time for the prison. He served as a teacher and coach for generations of young Arab prisoners, including children. His works, which included papers, essays, a famous play and a book for young people, were an act of resistance against the vilification of Arab prisoners. ” Love is my modest and only victory against my jailer”, he once wrote.
Walid Daqqah’s writings while incarcerated are a testament to a spirit that has n’t been destroyed by decades of oppression and incarceration.
It has been around 9, 000 replies and 2, 400 quoted reposts in the less than 24 hours since the post was posted and last edited, with many of them criticizing a revisionist explanation of how a convicted criminal was being paid for his gruesome crimes with a jail sentence.  ,
fate Tamam faced.

You are disgusting propagandists. He kidnapped, gouged out the eyes, castrated, dismembered, and tortured a teen- Moshe Tamam- before murdering him. He began writing while incarcerated. F you. https ://t.co/pBF0e9Ncop— George Yury Revutsky ( @george_revutsky ) April 9, 2024
Moshe Tamam was n’t available for comment. That’s because in 1984, Daqqah, a leader of terrorist group PFLP, ordered the abduction of the then- 19 year old. Moshe’s eyes were gouged out. His body was tortured. He was castrated. And—finally—shot.

A Jewish teenager was kidnapped and tortured by this monster by shooting him point blank in the chest and castrating him before shooting him out of the chest.
Let me make it clear that Daqqa did not endure enough suffering in this life, and that the only comfort he can now receive is that God has already sent him to hell. https ://t.co/nVRDPqBeRs
