I find it outrageous that those four, three vehicles were struck by drones and taken off on a highway where it was n’t like it was along the shore, it was n’t like a convoy was moving there, etc. So what I’m calling for is for the Israelis to simply request a ceasefire and allow for the next six, eight weeks to have access to all food and medicine entering the country. I’ve spoken with anyone, from the Saudis to the Jordanis to the Pharaoh. They’re prepared to move in. They’re prepared to move this meal in. And I do n’t see any justification for not meeting those people’s medical and food needs. It ought to be completed right away.

There are 133 remaining captives in Gaza, of whom about 100 are hoped to be still intact. Negotiators are attempting to reach a deal that, according to its terms, would require the release of 40 adult, sick, and elderly hostages in exchange for a lot more Palestinian terror convicts and some other form of permanent ceasefire.
