The Arizona Freedom Caucus ‘ leader, who was speaking against the” determined social decision-making” displayed by the country’s most significant pro-life triumph to date, received a press release.
Some prominent Arizona Republicans had decried the media on Tuesday that the country’s Supreme Court had upheld an 1864 law that almost all newborn babies in the state were protected, except when the mother’s life was in danger.
Senate candidate Kari Lake, past Gov. Doug Ducey, Rep. David Schweikert, and Rep. Juan Ciscomani, were among the Republicans who condemned the media and suggested that pro- pregnancy legislation was needed to rectify the situation.
But the Arizona Freedom Caucus, led by Arizona condition Sen. Jake Hoffman, came over swinging on Tuesday evening, declaring in a statement that the court “upheld the intent of the legislature, and preserved the rule of law” by “ruling that the pre- Roe law will be successful”.
The affirmation stated that” we will not compromise on cherishing and protecting living.” Numerous Freedom Caucus members of the state endorsed the position on” X.”
State Representatives in the states of Texas and Texas have a right to speak out against supporting both the family and the newborn baby.” This is why I am glad to be a representative of the AFC,” said state representative Rachel Jones.
Hoffman made the point in a telephone interview with The Daily Signal on Wednesday that Republicans should not be willing to compromise on a number of issues.
The head of the Arizona Freedom Caucus should be “resolute in our convictions, in our concepts, and in our group program,” he argued.” We should be ready to make the case that we cherish life and that we will do everything to protect it.”
He suggested that caring for parents and families be a part of this respect for life.
He claimed that what the Arizona Freedom Caucus saw was deliberate social decision-making that had taken place over the course of the past ten years, sometimes for three, even in some cases.
We simply do n’t think that’s how we should behave in a world where good and evil are in actual battle. But our statement was simply based on our convictions, and it did, in fact, raise a chill in the bud for those hiding in the bush that we needed to stand up and defend our principles without exception, Hoffman continued.
Though Arizona has a regulation protecting newborn babies after 15 weeks, Arizona’s pro- pregnancy, Democrat governor , Katie Hobbs , signed , an executive order in 2023 , giving the country’s Democrat solicitor general the power to enforce abortion laws. Attorney General Kris Mayes vowed to “fight like hell” to protect abortions in the state and not impose any restrictions on the unborn.
Hoffman cited Arizona Democrats as being” supportive of ripping children apart, limb by limb, in the womb” and actively working to “normalize abortion” and foster a” culture of abortion on demand until the moment of birth.”
He continued,” This is deeply embedded in Democrat culture,” making the claim that some of the Republican Party’s protests on Tuesday may have been a reaction to the enorme pressure being used by the Democratic leadership to spread abortion propaganda.
Former President Donald Trump responded to reporters on Wednesday by asking if the Arizona decision went too far.
” Yeah they did, and that will be straightened out”, he said.
” As you know, it’s all about states ‘ rights”, he added. He also said he thinks Hobbs will “bring it back into reason” . ,
The former president also made an , announcement , on Monday that he believes each state should follow” the will of the people” and pass , state- specific laws on abortion.  , He also said he supports “exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother”.
In a video released on Truth Social on Monday morning, Trump said,” My view is that we have abortion where everyone wants it from a legal standpoint, where the states will decide it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote, legislation, or perhaps both, and whatever they decide must be the law of the land, in this case, the law of the state,” according to Trump.  ,
” This 50- year , battle over Roe v. Wade , took it out of the federal hands and brought it into the hearts, minds, and vote of the people at each state”, Trump added. ” Now it’s up to the states to do the right thing” . ,
The former president urged Americans to “follow” their “hearts on this issue,” but he also urged them to “restore our culture and, in fact, to save our country, which is currently and sadly a nation in decline.”
