Senator Cory Booker ( D- NJ) said , Wednesday on , CNN’s” King Charles” that former President Donald Trump has” created panic and suffering in our land that is unbelievable” with his Supreme Court takes who overturned , Roe v. Wade.
According to Booker,” Donald Trump told the Supreme Court members that his principal litmus test was Roe v. Wade‘s overturn.” That has led to unbelievable conflict and suffering in our nation. The state where you can actually smuggle a girl out for her if she attempts to obtain abortion care, or the states where they are returning to a regulation when slavery was still in place before the 13th Amendment. This is insanity”.
He continued,” We’ve created a state of panic and suffering best now that is all a result of what Donald Trump has done for people who are victims of rape or incest, or who have serious medical conditions where contraception services could preserve their life.” And if he’s president of the United States and you do n’t think that this is going to continue, well, listen to what he’s saying. Right now, there are leaders in the Senate who are predicting that a nationwide abortion ban likely be passed. I think he will sign the bill if it is put on his desk, which may take us even further back in the 1800s.
