According to authorities, a Texas woman who lives in Belize was killed after her father crashed their golf cart into a table and was struck in the head by a shell shell.
Jennifer Lynn Griffith, 46, was riding with father Maynor Rene Ancona, 41, who was driving Saturday night in San Pedro, a village in Ambergis Caye that Madonna made popular with” Las Isla Bonita”, Channel 5 Belize reported.
According to police inspector Chester Williams, he crashed the vehicle into the El Norte Bar, which caused a battle between the partners and the people of the whiskey shop.
At one stage during the fight, one threw a clam shell at Griffith, striking her in the brain, according to the best officer, who said she suffered a trauma.
She self-examined herself from the facility and left with the police, Williams said,” she went there with the police, and she refused medical treatment. She later self-examined herself.  ,
” The following morning, she evidently was having problems and she went again to the office where she succumbed]to her dying ]”, he said. We are unable to determine the cause of death at this time, regardless of whether she died from the shell shell or the injury.
According to Williams, the cause of death has been determined through an autopsy, with questions about whether beer was a factor in the event.
When questioned about whether a club worker had thrown the conch shell, he replied that he was confused and that it was “one of the people involved in the brawl.”
Williams added that after Griffith left the San Pedro Polyclinic,” she had told the police that she did n’t want anything to do with those people.”
Authorities have reportedly detained many people, who may “at the very least” get charged with disorderly conduct, according to the media outlet.
According to local media outlet lovefm.com, Griffith was actually from Texas and had resided on Ambergis Caye for a while.
