The Justice Department said Friday it revealed “inconsistencies” in Fulton County Prosecutor Fani Willis’s usage of national grant money, confirming leak claims.

Willis previously&nbsp, fired&nbsp, the journalist who alleged the Fulton County business mishandled$ 488, 000 of federal grant money to pay for” swag”, computers, and go.

” It’s that same grant that the Justice Department’s Office of Justice Programs now says is plagued with reporting discrepancies from Willis’s office”, the Washington Free Beacon ‘s&nbsp, Andrew Kerr&nbsp, reported Wednesday:

The Justice Department did not provide any further information on the nature of Willis’s monitoring “inconsistencies” on the$ 488, 000 federal grant, which was earmarked for the development of a Center for Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention in Atlanta. The award ended in September 2023, but the middle not opened.

In response to an ongoing House Judiciary Committee investigation into Willis ‘ use of federal grant money, the Justice Department is working with Willis ‘ office to correct the “inconsistencies” in grant reporting. Rep. Jim Jordan ( R., Ohio ), committee chairman, subpoenaed Rep. Willis for records in early February regarding the$ 488, 000 federal grant and the allegations made by former Willis employee Amanda Timpson, who was appointed grant director until the district attorney abruptly fired her in January 2022.

Jordan&nbsp, threatened&nbsp, to keep Willis in contempt of Congress on March 14 after the area attorney responded to his summons with a “narrow set of papers” that had nothing to do with Timpson’s journalist claims. Willis&nbsp, wrote in response&nbsp, that Jordan’s expectations were “unreasonable and uncustomary” and suggested his analysis was an effort to disrupt her election meddling case against previous president Donald Trump.

In a Friday statement published Wednesday, a DOJ representative admitted to the Beacon that “inconsistencies” appeared during its assessment of Willis ‘ business. We have noticed some contradictions in what Fulton County has reported to [the Federal Subaward Reporting System ] during our overview of the honor, according to the representative, who said.

The review of Willis ‘ federal money is the most recent incident that has seized her company as she tried to prosecute former president Donald Trump.

    YOU’RE DOING GREAT.

In March, Willis ‘ ex-lover and brother counsel Nathan Wade resigned from the Trump case, giving the former president a victory in politics. Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee&nbsp, found&nbsp, the previous enthusiasts ‘ marriage produced no “actual issue” that would push Willis from the situation.

A Democrat agent is working in a Fulton County business, according to a report from Breitbart News in February, targeting Trump. According to the options, if the Biden presidency planted the officer, it would establish a compelling case that the presidency had interfered with the 2024 presidential election.
