Rep. James Clyburn ( D- SC ) joined MSNBC on Wednesday to tout President Joe Biden’s record on the economy — specifically pointing to inflation and saying that it was “down” — and claimed that “disinformation” was the reason so many Americans were n’t seeing that progress.
Clyburn was also present when” Morning Joe” network Mika Brzezinski broke in to say that inflation had increased more than expected in the previous fortnight. Brzezinski and Clyburn both agreed that “disinformation” was undoubtedly a problem.

” And so the inflation rates are down”, Clyburn began. ” And women’s earnings are away. Employment is on the lower. And while shopping at retailers can be more expensive, consumers actually make more money.
According to Clyburn, “what we have to do is make sure that people see the policies of the Biden administration, how they affect their daily lives, and get them to see those policies that are real, not what they may hear on social media,” adding that one of the main factors was that people did n’t think the Biden economy was working in their favor.
Brzezinski addressed Clyburn’s concerns about the effects of “disinformation,” before sharing a headline highlighting the most recent Consumer Price Index data, which revealed a 3.5 % increase in the inflation rate for the month of March, the highest increase in six months.
