According to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, it is “preposterous” to suggest that President Joe Biden is importing thousands of immigrant people to increase their political influence in favor of Democrats.
Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA ) questioned Mayorkas on Wednesday during a Senate budget hearing if it is true that the number of illegal immigrants that you and the president allow into our country qualifies for congressional district reapportionment.
Mayorkas responded to the question,” I’m not sure I understand your question, but I can assure you that I disagree with its phrasing.”
Kennedy once more questioned,” Is it true that the number of unlawful immigrants that you and President Biden have allowed into our state affects the distribution of political votes?” to which Mayorkas later responded,” The belief, Senator, that we intend to allow improper multiculturalism is nothing short of preposterous”.
Mayorkas ‘ remarks come as a Rasmussen Reports survey revealed this month that 57 % of likely voters, including 54 % of white voters and 68 percent of Hispanic voters, believe that Biden is importing immigrants to the United States to create a permanent Democrat majority that Republicans will be unable to overthrow.
In fact, immigration significantly affects the electoral college votes cast in national elections and legislative distribution.
In 2020, for example, Center for Immigration Studies ( CIS ) researchers revealed that the nation’s immigration policy — which annually brings more than a million legal immigrants to the U. S. as well as millions , of migrants— was responsible for the shift of about 26 House seats.
” To place this number in view, changing the group of 21 members of the current Congress would turn the lot in the U. S. House. The 26 tickets, according to CIS experts Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler, reflect the effects of all refugees and their children who are 17 years of age and younger.
Illegal newcomers and their U. S. born small children will disperse five votes in 2020, with Ohio, Michigan, Alabama, Minnesota, and West Virginia each losing one seats in 2020 that they otherwise would have had. Texas and California will each have two more tickets, and New York will have one more seats. ]Emphasis added]
For decades, research has continuously shown that the larger a country’s foreign- born people, the more likely that place is to vote for Democrats over Republicans.
In 2019,  , The Atlantic‘s Ronald Brownstein found that , roughly 90 percent , of House legislative regions with a foreign- born people above the national ordinary are won by Democrats. This means that every congressional district with a population over 15.5 percent of foreigners has a 90 % chance of electing Democrats and only a 10 % chance of electing Republicans.
The , Washington Post, the , New York Times, the , Atlantic,  , Axios, the , Los Angeles Times, and the , Wall Street Journal , have all admitted that swift demographic shifts spurred by mass immigration are tilting the country toward a permanent Democrat social lot.
” The second biggest threat to Democrats ‘ long- word practicality is populations” , , Axios , reported , in 2019.  ,” The figures just do not stay … there’s not a single statistical megatrend that favors Republicans”.
Now, the U. S. has the most good emigration system in the world and is , expected , to trade 15 million new international- born voters by 2044. About , eight million  , of those voters will have  , arrived , entirely due to the process known as” chain migration”, whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U. S.
