The Heisman Trophy X account suffered on Thursday when it published a memorial to OJ Simpson’s passing without making any mention of the patients he had been accused of murdering before being held answerable for their murders in a legal trial.

As Breitbart News , reported, Simpson’s celebrity energy following a famous sports occupation, which included 11 NFL seasons as a celebrity running up with the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers, cratered in the early 1990s when he stood accused of the death of his ex- family, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ron Goldman. After a lengthy and contentious trial, a jury later found him liable for their deaths in a civil trial, despite the fact that he was cleared of those murders.

The Heisman Trophy Trust’s honoring OJ’s sports career arose after her death, which appeared to ignore Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre sparked controversy when she claimed that only the White House conveyed condolences to Simpson’s family.
” Our thoughts are with his families ]sic ] during this difficult time — obviously with his family and loved ones”, she said during a briefing.
” And I’ll say this: I know that they have asked for some privacy. And so we’re going to respect that. And I’ll just leave it there”, she added.

Simpson’s family announced his passing on Thursday after a battle with prostate cancer at the age of 76.
