A” No More Scoring” solution is included in Mattel’s more Gen-Z-friendly Scrabble game for Europe.
The new release is a “double-sided” version of the well-known board game, with one side supporting the long-awaited standard version for those who want to stick to the long-awaited version and the other featuring a “less aggressive” version to appeal to Gen Z gamers,” according to the New York Post.
” The flip side of the classic activity, called Scrabble Up, may include companion cards, use a simpler grading system, been quicker to play and help people to play in teams”, it added.

Ray Adler, vice president, international head of activities for Mattel, told the NY Post that the firm wants to ensure the match” continues to be diverse for all players”.

Scrabble Up Mode is more accessible and brings people together, he continued, adding that it continues to enjoy the wonder of words like the traditional version does, but thanks to its interesting new co-operative and powerful gameplay it is more accessible and brings people up.
In addition to the end of the scoring, the new game will come with helper cards that can assist and direct players when they wish to use them. Despite the elimination of the scorecard, the game will still have a winner and a loser based on how many of the 20 challenges are completed and how many helper cards were used up. By eliminating the scoring system, games should conclude faster.

A Mattel spokesperson , told CNN , that Scrabble Together will be released in Europe but not the U. S and Canada, since Hasbro produced the game in those countries.
A Hasbro spokesperson told the NY Post,” We love the idea of different ways to play Scrabble and continue to draw new players to the game around the world,” despite the lack of plans for an update in the US.
