On Thursday’s version of Anderson Cooper 360, CNN correspondent Donie O’Sullivan criticized the Biden Campaign for saying that some of these problems about traditional Christians are” some of these concerns are fueled by propaganda.” The section would ll- air on Friday’s CNN New Central, but showing the segment a next time did not make O’Sullivan’s claims any truer.
O’Sullivan made a pre-recorded report on the problems of what is known as” Christian Nationalism,” a terrifying term with no clear explanation other than usually understood social conservative. He even cited polls that stated that “64 percent of Americans believe that the Bible should have at least some influence on American law.”
That ballot question has no purpose because when some people hear it, they think of Old Testament eating regulations, while others think of not allowing people to play on women’s sports team, which everyone agreed with until a few years ago, but for details were n’t the point of O’Sullivan’s segment. His stage was to present conservatives as a bunch of outside- touch, anxious weirdos.
Interviewing an unnamed woman on the street, O’Sullivan asked,” Do you think, is America a Christian nation”? O’Sullivan argued with her after the girl said she did, but it is obvious that the Constitution allows for the separation of church and state.
Earlier in the sector, O’Sullivan interviewed some extra- Trump ministers and they got little easier questions, for as” Why is Christian patriotism? In your perspective, such a danger”? They cited the Bible to support their opposition to Trump’s immigration policies, but they most likely did not in response to the ballot question above.
The girl held her ground, recalling that” Yes, but then there’s moreover, always, when I went to public school, we were allowed to pray”.
After O’Sullivan followed up by asking what precisely she meant,” When you say Christianity is under assault in America, you’re talking about in the classrooms, the teaching of –“
She answered,” Not so much in the schools, but just– I just ca n’t come up with anything right now. But I do n’t trust Joe Biden, in my opinion, because that’s the biggest issue.
In a voice, O’Sullivan claimed that” some of these concerns are fueled by propaganda”.
O’Sullivan retorted,” International Transgender Visibility Day takes spot every year on March 31,” after Trump discussed Biden’s Easter/Transgender Visibility Day statement in a picture. Easter Sunday likewise fell on that day this month.
Even after the media repeatedly pretends that Biden had nothing to do with Transgender Visibility Day, his decision to publish the statement acknowledges it will not alter that.
Therefore, a second unidentified woman was depicted who claimed,” I believe more that Christians will be treated unfairly by Biden or a second term.”
After O’Sullivan asked her what that meant, she added,” By making yesterday, which was the widespread Christian celebration of the resurrection, Transgender Day. That was a bit of a slap in the face.
O’Sullivan, suddenly, started spinning” I did just say that the times, they’ve had the Trans Awareness Day on the exact time the past few years. It just so happened that Easter Sunday was this year.
The woman replied,” Okay. I appreciate you rectifying my error. I appreciate that”.
There could be two things to be said about that. First of all, the fact that the woman was willing to give evidence demonstrates that conservative Christians are not the intransigent individuals O’Sullivan and Biden are trying to portray them as. Second, O’Sullivan’s should make sure those facts are actually facts and not spin.

O’SULLIVAN: How– what do you mean by that?
