Kevin Costner says he’s keeping his” Yellowstone” options open, despite leaving the hit Paramount Network series last year.

After the second half of Taylor Sheridan’s last year premieres in November, the 69-year-old professional director stated in a recent meeting that he wanted to return to the neo-western world.

” I thought I was going to make seven]seasons ] but right now we’re at five”, the Oscar winner told&nbsp,” Entertainment Tonight” &nbsp, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas earlier this week.

” How it works out — I hope it does — but they’ve got a lot of different shows going on”, he said, before adding, “maybe this did group up to me. If it does and I definitely feel secure with]it], I’d love to do it”.

Costner, who starred as the father of the Dutton house, confirmed reports of his return in September. During a Santa Barbara reading for his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, the” Dances With Wolves” artist- director&nbsp, revealed&nbsp, that he and the producers behind” Montana” failed to strike a deal ensuring his devotion to the line.

” I could n’t help them any more”, he said, People&nbsp, reported&nbsp, in September. ” We tried to negotiate, they offered me less wealth than previous months, there were problems with the creative”.

When word first broke that Paramount Global and Paramount Network were planning to end” Montana,” rumors about his exit from the Emmy-nominated set first surfaced in&nbsp, February 2023; The movie collection would end in two volumes, according to Paramount’s announcement in May 2023.

” Yellowstone’s” goodbyes was derailed by the two players’ and poets ‘ cuts in the summer and early fall of 2023.

In addition to dialogue problems, Costner’s” Montana” leave came amid studies of anxiety with Sheridan. In a June meeting with the Hollywood Reporter, Sheridan said he was “disappointed” by his actor’s departure, and that Costner’s film interests conflicted with the movie’s production plan.

Costner celebrities, writes and directs his” Horizon” story, which will&nbsp, render its debut&nbsp, at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in May.

Despite Costner’s return, Sheridan told&nbsp, THR&nbsp, he knows how he wants to bring John Dutton’s account to a close, adding that his departure just” truncates the closing of his personality”.

Costner, on the other hand, told ET that” I’ve had my own story how]the ending ] might be”.

” But that’s Taylor’s issue. I said as much to him a and back”, he added. ” I had emotions how it could happen, but we just have to see”.
