Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps ( IRGC ) commander, General Hossein Salami, on Sunday applauded the drone and missile attack on Israel, lauding it , as more successful than expected before warning against any retaliation from the Jewish state or its allies.
Salami’s boast came despite the Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) saying it had intercepted the “majority” of the “dozens” of drones and cruise missiles sent to attack Israel, though a few hit targets, including an IDF base, as Breitbart News reported.
Nevertheless a flock of over 300 robots, cruise missiles, and nuclear weapons were used in air abuse by Tehran.
Israel’s air defense systems were supported by assets from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Jordan that even intercepted Iranian drones and assisted in halting the state-on-state harm.
Salami asserted then in his hunch of absolute achievement, saying:
Although our information on all of the strikes is incomplete, the precise, documented, and field-related information that we have have available indicate that this operation was carried out with a success that far exceeded the expectations.
The IRGC chief warned that Israel may “regret its past behavior and take a lesson from Iran’s problems,” according to the Iran-state media outlet IRNA, adding that any answer from Israel to Iran’s new attacks may be met” with a much stronger answer.”
As Breitbart News reported, the assault was presumably in reprisal for an Israeli attack on April 1 that eliminated seven older Egyptian defense officials, including two generals, in Damascus, Syria.

An Arab Jewish woman who was hit by debris in the Jewish city of Arad was the only Jewish victim.
Iran has been attacking Israel through its extremist proxy for years, and that trend has gotten worse since the Hamas conquest of October 7.
Israel has stated that any harm on Egyptian soil would lead to an attack on Iran.
