According to court reporters, New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan warned court reporters about writing “physical information ” of judges in the criminal case against former president Donald Trump.
Democrat Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 crimes, accusing him of falsifying papers to conceal a sex incident. The test is the first for a US senator to face criminal charges. Trump was face jail time if convicted.

Trump’s extraordinary trial began Monday night with jury choice. The process ‘ fourth day, which could come to an end shortly in the next week, is Thursday. The prosecutor sat seven judges on Tuesday, but one was apparently dismissed on Thursday. A full of 18 are required.
We are in a remarkable situation: we are covering an extraordinary case of enormous common interest, and we are prohibited from discussing the jury’s constitution in many ways. New York Times ’s Jonah Bromwich reported. “The test is no televised, and we are the public’s eyes and ears, but at the time, we are limited in what we can switch. ”
“We are going to be extremely vigilant in offering real details of the jury after the judge’s caution, ” he continued.

The judge has stated that his decision is geared toward protecting potential jury and that this is his priority. It is still to be seen whether we can review on specific aspects of the test in a more secure manner, he continued.

Times reporter Maggie Haberman, who reported on Wednesday that Trump may have fallen asleep in the court, reported on Thursday that Trump “appears to remain awake” as he listened to the proceedings.

Trump has been occupied at times this morning, grabbing a call from his mobile phone before the proceedings even begin. He has half closed his eyes, which he typically does in court when he appears to be trying to avoid yelling, ” she wrote. “ He appears to be alive. His lead attorney, Todd Blanche, has been whispering to him constantly. ”
Just about one-third of U. S. adults believe Trump did something illegal regarding the case, an AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research surveys found Tuesday.
