The majority of the audience members present at Tuesday’s speaking engagement did not in large part undermine Coulter while she spoke, the ;. Cornell Daily Sun noted.
Coulter has encountered conflict before on the Cornell college.
In November 2022, during her last look at Cornell, the liberal pundit was forced to abandon her celebration after repeated shouts, threats, and mistreatment from spectators saw her suppressed.
Coulter was invited back to the university in an effort to” correct” what had transpired the previous time she was on campus, according to Provost Michael Kotlikoff last month.
We are actually working to correct a year and a half ago when Cornell students invited [Coulter ] to speak at Cornell, something I did not do, Kotlikoff told the Cornell Daily Sun.
I want to tell all individuals that Cornell values available and free expression and strives to foster a neighborhood where people’s viewpoints can be expressed. Kotlikoff added.
Ahead of the occasion , Kotlikoff apparently made it clear to visitors that Coulter had the right to speak freely without being intimidated, and that those who dissuade would suffer consequences if the event was interrupted.
