Hannah Fraher, the director of house operations for House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA ), had a Never Trump conniption when the Washington, DC, Young Republicans supported former president Donald Trump for president, according to emails obtained by Breitbart News.
Fraher is one of the most powerful staff in Johnson ’s company and controls all things relating to the Capitol grounds, access to the tower, and more. Fraher is the House’s lead employee on that front, and the speaker has a lot of control and authority over the Capitol complex. He was appointed to the position in November 2023, soon after Johnson won the speakership. According to her LinkedIn site, she previously worked as a senior guidance on the House Committee on Administration, and before that, she worked in Johnson ’s private business. She previously worked as a constitutional representative for Sen. Kennedy (R-LA ) and has held a number of Republican positions before working for Sen. In the Senate during the first half of 2013, Marco Rubio (R-FL ) was promoting the Gang of Eight amnesty plan. After losing the 2016 GOP political key to Donald Trump, Rubio has since changed on the immigration debate and has since learned what was wrong with that strategy. However, when Fraher interned for him from January 2013 to May 2013, it was when he was pushing that strategy.
This extremely powerful Johnson aide is blatantly anti-Trump, which is what this new revelation reveals. According to emails obtained solely by Breitbart News, Fraher, who Johnson hired to this place just a few weeks after she sent them, melted down when the DC Young Republicans endorsed Trump for president in May 2023.

The significance of the date and time is that that is the moment that Florida Governor signed the bill. Ron DeSantis had just a few hours before starting his widely criticized campaign start with Elon Musk on X, the program formerly known as Twitter, in the Republican presidential primary for 2024 against Donald Trump. What transpired in response to the DC Young Republicans emailing the support to its membership list is specifically revealing for a Democrat club, which would otherwise come across as ordinary and get regular GOP fare.
Fraher, in response to the organization’s support news message, accused the team of violating its rules by endorsing Trump. She demanded her dues been refunded, and she threatened to quit the party.
“Given this is in violation of the rules, I would like a payment of my dues, ” Fraher wrote again to the table of the DC Young Republicans. Let me know when you find it most convenient to make that happen. ”

Fraher replied with an profanity.
“That’s stupid crazy. You’re a joke, ” Fraher replied.

She was addressed in a reply to the DC Young Republicans email account, saying,” Do n’t care loser. ”
That was not the close of it, sometimes. Faraher completely melted down in man during personal exchanges with people in the nation’s capital about it all in anti-Trump rants, according to sources close to the problem. Fareher frequently criticized and attacked the previous chairman, making frequent comments about him in conversations with Breitbart News. According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Fraher frequently complained about Trump and said things like she could n’t support him for president in 2024.
At the time she sent these letters, per her LinkedIn page, she was working in Johnson ’s personal congressional office as a “senior counsel. She worked for the House Administration Committee for a few weeks between June and November of that year. Johnson had, of course, go on to become Speaker of the House in October 2023, just a few weeks after then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was ousted, and shortly thereafter, he brought Fraher back onto his staff in the top power in which she now serves.
Johnson’s official Raj Shah has not responded to specific inquiries from Breitbart News regarding this matter, including whether or not Johnson also has faith in Fraher in light of these discoveries. Additionally, Shah has not responded to a problem Fraher sent to him by Breitbart News, especially asking whether she also opposes Trump or whether she supports him now that he is the Republican nominee for president.
“Not commenting, ” Shah just said in response to questions on the matter.
According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Faher has just disclosed to people that she intends to apply for a career in a potential Trump presidency if the election results in a victory in November. Given the Trump team’s longstanding relationships with additional GOP employees and consultants, it would seem that this may play a role in making a decision, though it’s not clear if this event would prevent that.
