More young Americans, between the ages of 18 and 29, are friendly to the Palestinians and their state, according to a recent Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics surveys.
A greater proportion of the population supports the Palestinians ( 56 % ) over the Israelis ( 52 % ) and the Palestinian government ( 32 % ), which is supported by the terrorist organization Hamas ( 32 ).
By a margin of 11 % more young voters, they also think Hamas ‘ attack on October 7 was unjustifiable. When political party is applied, 30 pct more Democrats think Israel’s answer was not warranted, whereas 20 percent more Republicans believe it was.
By a five-to-one margin ( 51-10 percent ), young voters favor a “permanent ” ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. After being informed that Hamas is an “Islamist militant group, ” 7 % of the population “expressed sympathy ” with Hamas, but this percentage dropped to 13 %. ”
Ironically, as noted by The Crimson, “only 38 percentage of young Americans said they followed the news about the continuing conflict in Gaza strongly, but the number rises to 45 percent among registered voters. ”

In November, young Americans are in favor of Joe Biden by 8 % over Donald Trump. This figure more than doubles among young “likely ” voters. Biden is in the pursuit of the demographic’s college grads by a staggering 47 points.
Despite the fact that 53 % of young voters think there is an “immigration crisis,” 44 % oppose the construction of a wall along the southern border.
— Despite favoring President Biden in this year’s poll, only nine percentage say the U. S. is “generally headed in the right direction. ” The market is young voters ’ biggest worry.
— Ninety-nine percentage of young Republicans claim their creation is” too soft”; just 28 percent of younger Democrats agree.
Additionally, according to the ballot, there has increased disdain of different institutions since 2015. distrust in the administration grew 60 percentage, the Supreme Court 55 percent, and the internet 18 percent. The United Nations was the only organization that saw a rise in respect.
