At a European Parliament campaign release in Budapest on Friday, Prime Minister Orbán declared that the totalitarian authority in Brussels “must go” and does not “deserve another chance.”
“Change is needed in Brussels! ” Prime Minister Victor Orbán proclaimed, saying per the Magyar Nemzet: “We may hold Brussels, push off their bureaucrats and taking things into our own hands. If we don’t, not merely Europe, but we, Hungarians, may pay a hefty price for the stupidity and helplessness of the officials in Brussels. ”
Telling his nationalist right-wing Fidesz group members on Friday that there will be no movement, female, or war as their promotion phrase for the June elections. ”, the Hungarian perfect minister— now the longest-serving regional leader in the EU — cast the election as one of dramatic contrasts, especially on issues of mass migration, gender ideology, and perhaps most notably on matters of war and peace.
“ In Brussels, we have a pro-war lot now. Politics is predominated by the reasoning of war, and Europe is in a pro-war feelings. I see battle preparation outside, on everyone’s part. The leaders of Europe have already veered into the conflict, and the Secretary General of NATO wants to set up a NATO goal in Ukraine. I talk to them, I hear them; they see this as their own conflict, and they are fighting it as their own, ” Orbán said.
The populist president added that he believes the” situation is hardly improving” despite all the money and arms that Western power have sent into the turmoil. He has consistently pressed for peace agreements between Kyiv and Moscow and argued against Europe signing long-term money agreements for the conflict in Ukraine.
Orbán warned that the conflict is “one step away from the West sending troops to Ukraine, ” continuing: “It is a war vortex that could drag Europe into the abyss. Brussels is using fire. ”
We oppose war, and we oppose Hungary’s return as a toy of the great powers. Therefore, we must stand firm for peace … Hungary will not enter the Russia-Ukraine war on either side, ” he declared.
Populist parties are expected to make significant gains in the European Parliament elections, which will see voters in all 27 EU member states vote between June 6 and June 9 respectively. These developments will likely affect pro-farmer sentiment in the standoff against the green agenda favored by globalist elites.

According to projections from the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR ) think tank, populist parties are expected to be victorious in at least nine EU nations, including Orbán’s Hungary, as well as in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and Slovakia.
Orbán’s Fidesz party, formed in 1988 in opposition to the then-ruling Marxist–Leninist government, is currently projected to win 12 out of Hungary’s 21 seats in the European Parliament. After splitting from the neo-liberal European People’s Party of EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in 2021, Fidesz is currently the largest party in the non-affiliated group of non-affiliated parties in Strasbourg-based parliament.
Former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and other prominent figures have spearheaded Orbán’s party’s parliamentary affiliation with the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR ) group of euroscpetic parties. Should Orbán’s party join the organization, and if the ECR and the populist-nationalist Identity and Democracy ( ID ) group collaborate, it is possible that a populist-conservative coalition will have the upper hand in the upcoming elections.
In his speech on Friday, Orbán noted other areas where the globalist agenda has failed, including citing clear differences with the leadership in Brussels regarding the Ukraine war. Big trouble. The leadership has failed. Europe’s economy is in decline. The green transition is a disaster. Farmers in Europe are being harmed by Ukrainian grain. Migrants are pouring across borders. Crime is up, and violence is on the rise. They want to re-education children and place them under the control of gender activists. ”
Under Orbán’s leadership, Hungary has long been at odds with Brussels. The EU has stopped funding Budapest for alleged “rule of law ” violations, including Hungary’s refusal to accept swaths of illegal immigrants and limiting LGBT ideology’s promotion on television and in schools.
While Orbán is frequently accused of being anti-democratic, the Hungarian leader cited the recent attempts by a far-left municipal mayor in Brussels to halt the National Conservatism ( NatCon ) conference as an illustration of the growing authoritarianism within the EU.
Everyone can see how Europe is moving along the line between repression and freedom right now, he said, and this election will determine its course of action.
Concluding his speech, Mr Orbán said: “We must fight, we must defend the peace and security of the Hungarian people, we have to defend our economic achievements, we have to defend our families and especially our children, so that even Brussels understands: no migration, no gender, no war! This is our election manifesto. Go Hungary, go Hungarians! ”
