Huw Edwards, a former major news anchor for the BBC, left the publicly funded broadcaster in the UK last year after being accused of paying a girl for sexually explicit images. He resigned from the company on “medical advice.”
In a statement released on Monday, the BBC said that “on the schedule of medical advice from his specialists ” former Huw Edwards, a reporter for BBC News at Ten, has left the company.
