The day before his principal, Democratic senator from Pennsylvania, David McCormick spoke to Breitbart News Daily on Monday. He warned of the “spiritual decline ” in the country and highlighted the fact that some young people do not understand the fundamental distinction between right and wrong.
You mentioned that you had a few of the issues facing our nation right today, and that you also mentioned moral issues. What do you think by our nation’s spiritual problems? ” number Mike Slater asked McCormick.
When McCormick argued that only one-third of young people in the United States know the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, McCormick responded,” It’s a good day to ask that question because when you see these kids marching on campus, they do n’t know the difference.” S. are nationalist and support American individualism.
“How had that occur? How could there be Hebrew students studying at the University of Pennsylvania who stay in their areas because they fear being attacked if they cross college? Next you witness the testimony of those three university leaders. And you see that ’s how it happened, ” he said, explaining that this items directly to a lack of leadership and a lack of “moral quality. ”

“That’s the drop. That’s the moral drop that I’m speaking of, ” the Senate hopeful said, noting that this is not just a theological problem.
“It’s catholic in piece, but it ’s not just theological. It’s a feeling, it ’s a set of beliefs about what’s made America unique, a set of beliefs about what’s straight and what’s bad. And I think, I think we’ve lost that. And I think it ’s due in part to the failure of our leaders, ” he said, explaining that his opponent, Democrat incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA ), is a prime example of that.
Casey, he said, is “very, very weak ” and endorsed (D-PA ), “who is a good example of the kind of antisemitic behavior that we see. ”

“ When you, when you see those kinds of decisions for purely political reasons, you say that ’s how we have this decline – because we don’t have leaders that are stepping up and showing the difference between right or wrong, and that ’s what I’m referring to, ” he continued, adding that Casey has lived off of his father’s name; His father, who was the state’s previous governor, has served in public office for 30 years.
His father was a famous figure, he said. He was a true innovator. also Bob Casey Jr. is the exact reverse of that. He always sort of stepped up, ” he said, noting Casey does not have significant legislative accomplishments, sometimes.

“ He’s voted 98 percent of the time with Joe Biden, ” McCormick said. “So he’s a believer. ”
“This is person who every time there’s a fork in the road, has moved to the left, ” he added.
