MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow said Monday on “Chris Jansing Reports ” that it was striking to see former President Donald Trump seemed “old and tired and mad” in the “dingy ” Manhattan courtroom.
C0-host Andrea Mitchell said, “Let us bring in someone who actually saw Donald Trump in the court, Rachel Maddow. one of the few individuals present in the court immediately. Rachel, fill in the gaps. What was it like? ”
First of all, thanks to NBC for making it possible for me to enter the courtroom now. Maddow thanked her for having me. It’s a popular ticket, and it’s honorable to include a subject this significant. What you have heard about it being a sort of drab court is true, merely in terms of the atmosphere in the room. Although it may not be significant in terms of how justice is raging, it is interesting to see the original leader, someone who has tried to represent the luxury brand, in a place that resembles a high-ceiling DMV office. Lots and lots of police existence, quite severe atmosphere, very calm atmosphere. ”
She added, “I’ve seen him in person in my life a few times. I would suggest that after seeing him go up and down the aisle and then walk past me in the hall many times, including during a recess, he seems thinner than I have ever seen him in the past. He seems significantly older and he seems irritated, resigned, even angry. He appears to be a terrible person in this place. I’m no figure language expert. This is just my study. He appeared hungry, fatigued, and old. ”
