Harvard College has suspended the “Harvard Undergraduate Palestine Solidarity Committee ” ( PSC ) on Monday for the rest of the school year in response to an unauthorised protest it held last Friday in solidarity with Columbia’s anti-Israel students.

Individuals staging activities at universities like Columbia and Yale Universities are one of the latest pro-Palestine student presentations to take place across the country. Though there have not been professions at Harvard this quarter, the University limited admittance to Harvard Yard in preparation for undergraduate demonstrations on Sunday.
The PSC was one of several student institutions, including some overlooked student companies, to stage a protest in Harvard Yard on Friday in cooperation with Columbia’s student activists, whose more than 100 were detained by the New York City Police Department on Thursday.

The College specifically cited Friday’s rally in an email to the PSC, noting that the organization had not registered the show and had violated opposition rules regarding responsible use of space when informing the class of its expulsion for the majority of the flower semester.
The PSC has previously engaged in contentious methods. Last month, it smeared a native priest, Hirschy Zarchi of the Harvard Chabad area.

Harvard is among several wealthy institutions hit by a storm of extreme anti-Israel demonstrations, which are often even racist.
The PSC has until Wednesday to file an appeal. If it disobeys its expulsion, the extreme group may face a continuous restrictions.
