Russia to enhance attacks on American arms stored in Ukraine, Kremlin warns , | The Hill

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu speaks to officers as he inspects a command post for one of the Zapad ( West ) group of Russian troops in an undisclosed location in Ukraine in this video that was made available on Monday, June 26, 2023 by the Russian Defense Ministry Press Service.
Sergei Shoigu, the head of Russia’s protection, warned the Kremlin to launch more attacks on American weapons kept in Ukraine.
According to Russian state-owned outlet RIA Novosti,” We will increase the intensity of attacks on shipping facilities and storage foundations for Western arms,” Shoigu said on Tuesday.
The House passed the$ 95 billion foreign aid package over the weekend, and on Tuesday night, Shoigu issued the warning. It is now on its approach to President Biden’s office to get signed.
Foreign aid for embattled U. S. allies includes$ 26 billion for Israel and humanitarian aid in Gaza,$ 8 billion for Taiwan and additional U. S. allies in the Indo- Pacific , and , around$ 61 billion for Ukraine.  ,
Biden said in a speech on Tuesday night that he will mark this bill into law and handle the British people as soon as it gets to my office tomorrow so that we can start sending weapons and equipment to Ukraine this week.  ,
The new funding will give Kyiv the much-needed ammunition and validation needed to stop Russia’s extensive invasion that has been going on for more than two years.  ,
Shoigu’s warning comes as the Biden administration prepares to deliver a$ 1 billion weapons package to Ukraine.  ,
The deal, larger than the previous$ 300 million authorized in March, may involve Stinger air defense munitions, vehicles, 155- millimeter artillery ammunition, Javelin anti- tank munitions, TOW and more ammunition for artillery rocket systems, according to Reuters, citing two U. S. officials.  ,
” The need is serious: for Ukraine, facing unrelenting assault from Russia, for Israel, which really faced unprecedented problems from Iran, for immigrants and those impacted by conflicts and natural disasters around the world, including in Gaza, Sudan, and Haiti, and for our partners seeking security and stability in the Indo- Pacific”, Biden said in a speech.
