Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR ) claimed on Fox News ‘” America Reports” on Tuesday that the Biden administration should revoke the visas of foreign students who are engaged in illegal behavior as part of the ongoing anti-Israel protests at Columbia University and other colleges in the United States.
Cotton said,” I gather there were about 100 individuals arrested last evening at NYU. There may need to be yet more detention right now. These university presidents need to demand that students truly do what they’re supposed to do on campus, which is going to school, and to take in New York City’s best to arrest anyone who breaks the law, squatting on personal property when they’ve been told to separate, harassing or intimidating Israeli students in a budding pogrom.
He added,” And by the way, any of these individuals who are immigrants here on visa may soon have their permits revoked by the Biden Administration, be rapidly deported. They do not deserve to be here. They have little right to be here spewing anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli slander.
Cotton concluded,” It’s not , the college’s prerogative , whether or not the NYPD come , onto their school. It would definitely be pleasant at , the college presidents and , their police forces may  , cooperate, but New York City has  , an obligation to maintain the law , and to shield innocent , civilians like those Jewish , kids”.
