A Canadian man of American descent was arrested in New Delhi for violating a film that showed him receiving free meals from a Canadian food bank for students. Some social media users criticized Mehul Prajpati for obtaining completely food despite having a high-paying task as the video went viral.
One of the social media users captioned the videos and claimed Prajapati in question worked for TD Bank, a reputable company in Canada, and earned an average annual salary of$ 98, 000. Afterward, the same person claimed in another post that Prajapati had been fired from his position by the company as a result of the picture.
But, Prajapati’s family members denied these studies and claimed that he was a scholar without any work. He had just worked for the company internally, and his internship ended in December of last year, according to the company.
Thank you for bringing the picture to our focus, the company’s response was posted on social media. The alleged actions and the video’s messages are incompatible with TD values and treatment practices. I can ensure that the person who was in the film is no longer employed by TD.
The gentleman was fired over the movie, but the article did not mention that.
