According to Professor of Marketing at NYU Stern School of Business Scott Galloway, who hosted the” Morning Joe” broadcast on MSNBC on Tuesday,” the easiest way to detect oppressors is how bright and how wealthy they are,” the double standard surrounding antisemitism on campus is “because of an orthodox promoted by me and my colleagues that there are tyrants and oppressed and that the easiest way to identify rulers is how bright and how wealthy they are.”
Galloway said,” I think, one, younger people have a good gag reflex on what persons our time think, and I think that’s good. Two, I do n’t think Israel has draped itself in glory over the last 20 or 30 years. They’ve shifted from being sort of a David to the Goliath. I also believe that, in an incorrect way, students on campus misinterpret the civil rights movement and what is happening in Palestine. They have, regrettably, digressed because of an dogma promoted by me and my colleagues that oppressors and subjugated people are more easily identified because of how light and wealthy they are. Israel is viewed as the epicenter of white supremacy, whether or not it is unfair or unfair. And then, what might sound paranoid, but it does n’t mean I’m wrong, I think we are being manipulated, specifically, youth, whose frame for the world is TikTok. And if you look at TikTok, there are 52 movies that are pro-Hamas or pro-Palestine for every one that serves on Israel. I think that we are being manipulated. I think Americans are easier to fool, to encourage they’ve been fooled, but if I were the CCP, I’d been doing exactly the same thing. I believe that social media is causing section and fragmentation in our society.
He added,” Jordan was coordinating anti- aircraft weapon technology…they were coordinating with Israel. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it ends up, was friendly of Israel. So I would like to know what their Muslim brothers and sisters know that you do n’t. I.e., what do these far-left groups on campus know? And this is, like I said, I’ve definitely never seen anything like it. It’s rattling to Immigrants across the country. And I’d like to believe that America has remained unwavering in this regard. The Biden presidency has done a fantastic job, in my opinion. But I think young folks, over time, may look back and regret their opinions on it. And again, I think there]are ] outside forces at work here”.
Galloway even connected the determined dissatisfaction young people have with their financial situation to the issues on college campuses in another segment.
