Former Attorney General Bill Barr claimed on Fox Business Network’s” Kudlow” that Republicans needed to win the November primaries because Vice President Kamala Harris and Joe Biden were “batting group”.
Barr said,” Well, I’ve said, yeah, the choice then is a binary choice between these two candidates, and of the two, I support President Trump. And one of the reasons is because I think many of our vital problems, including restructuring, violence, restoring law and order, restoring power over our borders, rebuilding our protection in this extremely risky world, standing by our allies, I trust President Trump to do that much more so than President Biden, I think. Additionally, I’m concerned that Vice President Kamala Harris will be competing with Joe Biden in the front row. I feel that under these conditions, the Republicans have to get in November”.
On the New York legal case, Barr said,” I think this scenario is a blot on the criminal justice approach. This is a clear example of going after the person, not a crime. There is no murder around. There is no violence. Hush wealth is never a crime. It is not a violence to try to protect your reputation. Entering into a non- reporting contract is never a murder, even if you’re running for office. There is no crime around. And they’re trying to manufacturing one and they’re trying to hurt, tamper with the vote. That’s what this is”.
