On Wednesday’s spread of the Fox News Channel’s” Jesse Watters Primetime”, House Speaker Rep. Mike Johnson ( R- LA ) stated that Columbia University and various institutions that “are engaging in this kind of bullshit” related to what’s happening at Columbia do not need to get tax money.
Johnson claimed that what is happening at Columbia is not” the appearance of free conversation, it’s not the free exchange of ideas in the open rectangular.” Because of who they are and what they believe, this threatens and intimidates Israeli individuals. Before we arrived on the school, there are a large number of Hebrew students who are feared. They do n’t go to class, they’re afraid they’re going to be assaulted. It’s hardly fair to them. Some of them were required to file federal lawsuits and report civil rights violations there, and taxpayer money should n’t be going to institutions that are funding this sort of nonsense. If you’re an executive on a college campus, your number one task, the first and most visible, is the safety and security of your kids. If you ca n’t guarantee that, we need to find somebody who can”.
