Biden and 17 other world leaders issue call for Hamas to release remaining hostages in Gaza

President Biden and 17 other world leaders called on Hamas to relieve the victims that had been taken hostage from the Israeli terrorist attacks on October 7 and demanded that doing so would result in a protracted cease-fire in the continuing conflict in Gaza.

The White House has been campaigning for a cease-fire in Gaza for weeks that would help the release of hostages also being held in the area and allow for more humanitarian aid to flow into the area.

Hamas stated that it would not release the hostages unless Israel ended the conflict, which has killed thousands of Palestinians and sparked a wave of protests on new campuses at American colleges.
