Owners of Tijuana nightclubs are suing new rules that mandate the need for more security guards and other security measures in their organizations.
Additionally, the laws mandate that all security personnel receive training for health emergencies and different situations, and that all security guards receive clearance from the city’s police department.
Julián Palombo Saucedo, chairman of Tijuana’s Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, is urging club owners to put the new laws into effect right away, saying it will make points safer for both customers and employees.
Eight months after the new rules came into effect, many club owners were slow to adhere to them, which call for metal detectors, surveillance cameras, and other security measures both inside and outside of the venues.
Owners have stated that they are unable to afford to put more security equipment and guards.
According to Palombo Saucedo, Tijuana will quickly start issuing quotations to nonconforming owners. Charges may be up to 100, 000 peso or about$ 6, 000.
” We are exhorting all and every one of these companies to implement the new specifications”, said Palombo Saucedo. Points need to be safer because we need to stop people from entering a team with a gun or other tool and be able to upset customers.
