On Thursday, conflict erupted at various campuses as officers forcibly removed and detained pro-Palestinian protesters who refused to leave their school tent camps in rally of the Hamas-Israel war.

The protests started at Columbia University next Thursday, and they have since spread to a number of other colleges nationwide. Quite a few places have been marked with panic, police are wearing mob equipment, and students and other neighborhood agitators have refused to evacuate despite receiving numerous warnings.

More than 100 pro-Palestine activists were detained at Emerson College on Thursday morning, according to CBS News Boston, four officers officers were hurt escorting protesters who had refused to leave.

” Police reportedly warned them to leave and many who did n’t were arrested. …Classes at Emerson were canceled for the day Thursday and kids were offered counseling”, it reported.

According to several media reports, officials used tear gas and rubber bullets to elude the agitated audience at Emory University.

Early on Thursday morning, some few protesters walked into Emory University’s school and set up tents on the Quad, according to a statement from Emory University to Fox News. ” These people are not members of our community. As our kids finish their classes and get ready for finals, they are activists trying to undermine our school. Vandalism and other forms of criminal behavior on college are not tolerated by Emory. The Williams Police Department called Atlanta Police and the Georgia State Patrol for help and ordered the team to keep.

According to its site, Cal Poly Humboldt is still occupied by demonstrators as of Thursday, forcing the school to be locked through Sunday and move to distant groups.

Gideon Askowitz, leader of Israeli Students for America, claimed on X Thursday evening that he was assaulted when he walked into a CUNY school’s pro-Palestinian campsite.

According to The New York Times, some further campuses on Thursday experienced unrest, including Indiana University in Bloomington, where 33 people were taken from a school encampment and detained.
