In New Delhi, pro- and anti-war demonstrations have sprang up across US institutions, resulting in the incarceration of hundreds of students, among them at Columbia University.
On Thursday, the University of Southern California canceled its graduation ceremony, and hundreds of other school individuals were detained nationwide.
Princeton University’s Indian-American pupil was likewise detained and prohibited from the school for staging pro-Palestine protests.
The individuals who are protesting demand that schools cut their economic ties to Israel and stop investing in companies they believe are helping to bring down the Gaza conflict.

Next week, pro- Arab student demonstrators set up a tent camp at New York’s Ivy League universities. Officers attempted to remove the encampment on April 18, arresting over 100 protesters. However, the method backfired, energizing individuals around the nation and prompting protesters at Columbia to recover.
University officials made the announcement on Wednesday that they would allow more demonstrators to leave. They claimed that even students would be allowed to use the campsite and that the demonstrators had consented to have a large number of tents removed. Additionally, they made a decision to outlaw all prejudiced expressions and harassing information.

Garcetti, the US ambassador to India, ensures health for American students studying in America.

Eric Garcetti, the US embassy to India, said on Friday that “nobody may feel threatened,” and that opinions should be expressed in a “peaceful” way.
” It’s the time, you know, having a lot of conflict in the world. And we in America believe thoughts may be expressed, but nothing really feel threatened. If something crosses the threshold of a person feeling threatened by themselves. That’s everything that’s intolerable, and there will be effects”, Envoy Garcetti told ANI.
” At the same time, individuals do have that right to express their thoughts, their differences in a calm manner, in a way where we can agree to disagree, believe, or we can honor each other’s different ideas. And that’s, I think, the purpose for all of us”, he added.
