Baker and Jordan’s Justice Department responded on Thursday by declining to provide the voice, citing a lack of “legitimate legislative have” for it.
If the Committees ‘ objective is to get data from the Department to help with your studies, that objective has been exceeded, according to Assistant Attorney General Carlos Uriarte’s response on Thursday. ” Our participation has been incredible”.
” Despite our many requests”, he added,” the Committees have not articulated a legitimate congressional need to obtain audio recordings from Mr. Hur’s investigation, let alone one that outweighs the Department’s strong interest in protecting the confidentiality of law enforcement files”.
” Lacking a justification for complaint—never mind contempt—in the actual record, the Committees ‘ threats deepen our concern that you are seeking to create a false narrative of obstruction that weakens, rather than strengthens, the American people’s confidence in our government and the rule of law” , , Uriarte continued.
The Department will continue to fulfill its commitment to safeguard the public’s interest in law enforcement job. We hope that you find the information useful. Choose do not hesitate to get in touch with this business if we can assist you with anything else,” he pleaded.
A spokesperson responded,” We will answer to the Department of Justice,” when Breitbart News requested reply from the Oversight Committee regarding upcoming actions involving Garland and possible hatred trials.
During the government’s meeting with Hur, Biden, 81,  , experienced , emotional errors and “poor storage” at least seven days, according to a record obtained by Breitbart News.
